Elisabeth de Gaust began the OTP Mountain Summit Challenge in 2021 and has been one of the leading climbers each year. She is one of only four climbers in the challenge to have completed the Advanced Level each year. On October 13, 2024 Elisabeth de Gaust completed the MSC 2024 earning her spot on the OTP Expert/Pro Mountain Summit Team. She is the 6th person to have ever completed a MSC.
MSC 2025: Completed 37 summits and 101 points with 9 Advanced and 3 Experts. Her Experts: Mt. Shasta, University Peak, and Cloudripper. She was the 4th-ranking woman in this year's challenge.
MSC 2024: She was the top-ranking woman of the year and 3rd overall in this year's challenge.
Completed 30 summits and 91 points with four Experts: Thompson Peak, Mt. Theilsen (Oregon), San Jacinto (Cactus to Clouds), and Redslate Peak.
MSC 2023: Tied for second highest ranking woman of the year and tied for the third top overall climber that year. Completed 19 summits including all 6 Advanced and 1 Expert (Shastina).
MSC 2022: This year she was the top woman in the challenge and tied as the second highest overall ranking climber. She completed 25 out of 32 summits including all of the Advanced, earning her spot on the Mountain Summit Team. She summited many difficult peaks including Split Mountain (elevation 14,064'), Matterhorn Peak, Mt. Ritter, Iron Mountain, and San Gorgonio.
