About OTP Mountain Summit Team

The OTP Mountain Summit Team is comprised of the most resilient and dedicated hikers, climbers, and mountaineers in the Mountain Summit Challenge. Spots on the team are not given out; they can only be earned by completing all levels through Advanced or Expert.

Being on the team is both an honor and a testament to an individual’s skill, resilience, and dedication. It not only showcases one's technical skills and physical endurance but also highlights their capacity for decision-making through natural obstacles, different terrain, and harsh conditions.

Expert/Pro Mountain Summit Team

Members who complete all levels through Expert earn the highest distinction in the Ocean To Peak Adventures Mountain Summit Challenge. This level represents exceptional commitment, experience, leadership, and stewardship within the OTP Community.

Advanced Mountain Summit Team

To earn a spot on the Advanced Summit Team, a person must have the dedication, skill, and mental strength to complete all levels through Advanced. This is no easy task and many think they are on the Advanced Level until they try it. Completing it can can take many months to a year.
