Join Ocean To Peak Adventures for this exciting 4 days and 3 nights Glamping-style Adventure Trip on California’s North Coast in Humboldt County. We’ll be immersed in beautiful spots on the coast, inside an old growth redwood forest, on coastal lookouts & enchanting trails, along pristine beaches & a freshwater lagoon, and at our large glamping style basecamp. This multi-day adventure is organized and led by OTP.

Group Activities

Hike beautiful ocean view locations & beaches
Explore and hike through a towering old growth redwood forest
Enjoy a unique silent hike (no talking) while listening to the sounds of the redwood forest
SUP/kayak on a unique coastal lagoon (those not paddling will do a self guided hike through a unique forest)
Hike a charming and awe-inspiring trail directly from basecamp that has stunning views of the ocean, sea stacks, and headlands. This trail meanders through a mossy forest, cliff lookouts, and down to the ocean
Enjoy a light breakfast on two of the mornings provided by OTP. This will be bagels, muffins, fresh fruit, & tea
Enjoy movie night around the campfire at basecamp. The movie is projected onto a large 10 foot screen
Watch the sunset on two evenings from different impressive coastal lookouts
Participate in 10 minute silent meditation at two peaceful nature spots - beach & mossy woods
Have fun at our themed social at basecamp
Relax around the campfire in the evenings

Options to relax on the beach, search for wild mushrooms, explore tide pools, and explore small coastal towns. These are self guided activities.

OTP Basecamp (Glamping Style)

A beautiful private OTP campsite located directly on the coast. This is an impressive basecamp in a coastal forest just a few minutes walk to sweeping views of the coast and ocean.
Hot showers (Coin operated, bring quarters)
Outdoor kitchen area with roof & open walls, electrical outlets, table tops, overhead lighting, microwave oven, large double faucet sink with hot water, and shelving
Men and women's bathrooms with clean water, flush toilets, private hot showers, mirrors, & sinks
Picnic tables with bench seating
BBQ grill (bring charcoal if you want to BBQ)
Large stone fire pit for our group campfires
Drive up campsite (easy unloading)

Level of Activities

We will be hiking on maintained trails and the pace will be easy going. The group will stay together and take frequent breaks at alluring locations. If you’re a fast hiker and want to get ahead then that's okay. Many of the trails are easy. Each day we will hike different trails and some days there will be multiple activities. The longest trail is 3.7 miles round trip in the redwoods. Attendees can choose to hike or paddle whatever distance they like on the trip and it's okay to head back to the parking lot before the group finishes. The scenery throughout the trip will be incredible regardless of how far you go.
